What You’ll Get to Do:

As a CACI-SOAS Senior Chemical Weapons (CW) Analyst, you will perform CW programs analysis, to include and not limited to national doctrine, strategy, plans, policies, intentions, command authorities, and resources relating to current, emerging, and future CW programs. You will identify technical capabilities, security, and vulnerabilities to CW programs, to include, but not limited to, CW production, stockpile, logistics and security, research and development, testing, CW employment, scientists, CW facility characteristics, and other related CW facilities. You will perform CW proliferation and procurement analysis by identifying and monitoring entities involved in the sale and or transfer of controlled and dual use CW related goods. You will perform supply chain vulnerability analysis as well as procurement needs for CW programs. Performs analysis of foreign governments'· adherence and implementation of international and bilateral commitments to destroy CW capabilities and stockpiles.

More About the Role:

At the Senior Level you will get to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and understanding of chemical weapons. You will get to demonstrate your mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology. You will get to demonstrate the ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks. You will use your in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organization and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulate key findings in relation to chemical weapons. You will use your ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions and routinely test analytic rigor of products.

At the Expert Level you will also demonstrate the ability to define problems, supervise studies and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions on chemical weapons. You will demonstrate expert analytic leadership and expertise in identifying, planning, developing, and executing analytic production methodologies, tradecraft, and techniques. You will demonstrate extensive ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to Defense planners and policymakers (e.g. Undersecretary level or higher) on CW matters.

**This position is contingent upon contract award in October.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Desired Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience conducting analysis with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years relevant to chemical weapons.

  • Desired Education: Master’s degree in chemical related field (chemistry, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, chemical engineering, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry) from a college or university accredited by a an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have a Bachelor’s degree in a chemical related field (chemistry, biochemistry, organic chemistry) from a college or university accredited by a an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute for the Master’s degree.

  • Understanding of JP 3-40, JP 3-25, ICD 203, and ICD 206

  • You must also possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

  • Willing to work rotating shifts if needed - that may include nights and weekends.

  • Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Desired Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience conducting analysis with at least a portion of the experience within the last 5 years relevant to chemical weapons.

  • Desired Education: Doctorate degree in chemical related field (chemistry, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, chemical engineering, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry) from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

  • CI Polygraph

  • Expert understanding of JP 3-40, JP 3-25, ICD 203, and ICD 206

You’ll Bring These Qualifications :

  • Desired Experience: Minimum 20 years of experience conducting analysis with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years relevant to chemical weapons.

  • Desired Education: Master’s degree in chemical related field (chemistry, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, chemical engineering, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry) from a college or university accredited by a an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

  • Understanding of JP 3-40, JP 3-25, ICD 203, and ICD 206

  • You must also possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

  • Willing to work rotating shifts if needed - that may include nights and weekends.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$85,800 - $180,200
