Providence St. Joseph Health Process Improvement Specialist - USFHP in Renton, Washington

Description This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating operational workflows and training needs. Drive workflow development, including but not limited to: discovery work to determine scope of problem, helping to clarify business need, collaboration with both primary and specialty caregivers, process redesign, collaborate with other teams to assist in defining implementation and performance/quality monitoring stages, coordinate and support new EHR tools tied to developed workflows and provide first level training on tools to pilot sites and trainers. Demonstrates pragmatic, consensus building, conflict-prevention and resolution skills. Facilitate discussions with caregivers and other teams to identify potential improvements. Produce clear documentation for project implementation and management including but not limited to, minutes from meetings, communications to team members, project schedule, weekly status reports and evaluation summaries. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree - health administration, public health, or related field or equivalent educ/experience. 3 years - project management, clinical support, EHR optimization, organizational development, staff training or other related fields Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access programs, including Pivot tables, Graphs, and creating presentations. Preferred Qualifications: Epic-related work experience. AthenaIDX related work experience. Proven experience with process improvement, six sigma, business transformation Why Join Providence?
