This position will also be responsible for creating and maintaining general operating procedures for the clinic, maintaining budgets for first aid medical equipment and supplies, consulting with off-site physician clinics, providing additional resources to the business as changes demand, and working closely with the Safety Manager in the identification and prevention of injuries/accidents. This role reports to the Human Resources Manager and works closely with operations, manufacturing engineering, and facilities to achieve the plant's overall safety goals. Job Functions / Responsibilities Treats minor illnesses or injuries and provides immediate emergency care as necessary. Coordinates Supervisors and/or consulting physician in arranging referral and transportation for additional medical care when necessary. Executes emergency medical response when need arises. Co-Administers worker's compensation program with Safety Manager Prepares and maintains clinical or case histories, treatment records and other confidential patient data.
