This person will work remotely from anywhere within our 7- state region of operation in WA, OR, CA, AK, MT, NM and TX. The Role: As the Senior Application Leader for Providence St. Joseph Health (PSJH), you will be at the helm of excellence in application leadership, focusing on implementations and support for our Epic systems. This role involves executing and driving strategic plans, resource planning, and overseeing operational support initiatives. You will also manage vendor relationships, budget allocation, and ensure the integrity of our application infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with executives, clinical governance, and senior leaders across PSJH to achieve our strategic goals. What You'll Do: Strategic Visionary: Develop and drive application strategic plans and roadmap deployment, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Resource Planner: Optimize resource planning and utilization to support seamless application services operational support initiatives. Operational Leader: Oversee vendor management, budget management, and operational support initiatives within your application focus areas. Collaborative Partner: Work closely with executives, clinical governance, and senior leaders to identify and deliver effective technical solutions that support strategic initiatives. Mentor and Develop: Lead, mentor, and develop directors, managers, and other staff to create a high-performing team. Performance Monitor: Ensure the performance of applications and services by evaluating KPIs and implementing improvements as needed. Compliance Champion: Direct and oversee compliance with policies and procedures that impact all of PSJH. Optimization Advocate: Actively oversee the optimization of processes to improve service delivery, increase value, and promote customer satisfaction. Epic Program Success: Lead the success of Epic programs, including Gold Stars, Staying Current, and Honor Roll, ensuring key deliverables and interdependencies are understood. What You'll Bring: Educational Foundation: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, or equivalent education/experience. A Master's Degree is preferred. Epic Certification: Applicable Epic Certification upon hire, with advanced certification preferred. Extensive Experience: 10+ years of closely related experience in Information Services leadership, with at least 5 years in a healthcare environment and 3 years in an IS Application environment. Analytical Skills: Demonstrated analytical skills to effectively manage complex information technology in large organizations. Communication Excellence: Strong verbal communication and listening skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders. Team Builder: Proven ability to build and manage effective teams, motivating staff and evaluating performance accurately. Project Manager: Ability to drive multiple projects to completion, balancing priorities and information needs across functional programs. Collaborative Spirit: Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate openly, building relationships and teams to meet organizational needs. Leadership Acumen: Respected leadership skills, particularly in Epic applications, with a deep understanding of vendor strategies and internal roadmaps. Why Join Us?
