Robert Half Divisional/Plant Controller in Renton, Washington

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the manufacturing industry for a Divisional/Plant Controller to join our team in Renton, Washington. This role involves managing financial functions in a hands-on manner, overseeing inventory control, and providing strategic input to the organization. You will be instrumental in managing the financial health of the plant, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, and producing managerial and sales reports.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Manage the financials of the plant, including budget processes and financial reporting

• Maintain and manage inventory accounting and controls

• Use Dynamics GP and Microsoft Excel for financial management and reporting

• Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports

• Handle ad hoc reporting as needed for managerial decision-making

• Run and manage the end-of-month close process

• Review and manage commission calculations on a monthly basis

• Manage a team of two, providing direction, support, and performance feedback

• Contribute to the manufacturing cost accounting processes.

This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. Requirements • Must have 7 years or more of experience in a similar role as a Divisional/Plant Controller

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions is required

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential

• Familiarity with Budget Processes is expected

• Must have experience with Dynamics GP

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel is necessary

• Must be able to produce Resultant Managerial Reports

• Should be skilled in Ad Hoc Reporting and Financial Reporting

• KPI Reporting skills are required

• Must have experience with Bonus Commission and Commissions

• Knowledge of Asset Inventory is crucial

• Experience in Inventory Accounting is necessary

• Must have worked in a Manufacturing Company before

• Proficiency in Manufacturing Cost Accounting is required

• Familiarity with Manufacturing Costs is necessary.
