THE REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION (RTC) OF WASHOE COUNTY, NEVADA, an integrated transportation agency that serves as the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), transit authority, and street and highway construction agency invites applications for the position of Information Technologies (IT) Analyst. THE JOB: Under general supervision, the incumbent provides technical support functions for RTC computer network systems; configures systems, troubleshoots problems, provides system maintenance services, provides helpdesk support, and may act as technical liaison and business partner to RTC departments. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: An associate’s degree in computer science or related field; AND three (3) years of computer network systems management experience; OR an equivalent combination of commensurate education and experience; valid driver’s license at time of appointment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with others. Highly preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or Cisco or other relevant certifications.ABOUT THE PROCESS: Applications and responses to the supplemental questionnaire will be evaluated to determine those candidates whose background and experience most closely meet the agency’s needs.
