Sabre Sr. Events Marketing Specialist in Remote Worker, Texas

The Marketing organization is looking for a highly motivated, experienced marketing leader to join the team. This role requires creating and managing the holistic brand and communication activities and collaborating with a diverse set of global stakeholders within and outside of the Marketing organization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Plan and execute all internal and external events including complex marketing events such as industry trade shows and customer-related events
Conduct intake sessions to understand internal needs to execute successful events
Partner with Global Comms Events to oversee the industry and top-tier Sabre-hosted events including planning, logistics, attendance, presentation and materials, branding
Secure, manage, and ship event-branded assets, and giveaways
Secure speakers
Provide on-site event support
Manage all invoicing for the marketing budget
Provide experiential marketing services for Premier Partners, and coordinate with other marketing pillars to deliver on partner benefits
Host executive webinars including All Hands and Fireside Chats
Conduct pre/post-event evaluations
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree desired or relevant experience highly preferred, CMP/CMM certifications preferred
5-7 years of corporate event planning and experiential marketing preferred
Proven success with meeting planning skills (MPI MBECS standards)
Strong/logical decision maker with a critical path and reactionary strength
Exceptional organizational, project management, design, and financial skills
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English
Strong understanding of event sustainability and risk management standards
Knowledgeable in event production including technical direction and audio-visual
Awareness of global meeting trends, locations, and venues worldwide
Resilient, flexible and adaptable
Unbridled creativity, visionary thinker, and concept design experience
Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple projects simultaneously and work well in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in MS Office tools
Domain expertise in the travel industry or with hospitality products a plus
