SAIC Business Analyst in REMOTE WORK, Kansas

Description

As a Business Analyst, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, translating business needs into actionable requirements. You will conduct thorough analysis of business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and propose innovative solutions. Your role includes facilitating workshops, documenting requirements, and collaborating with project managers and developers to ensure successful project delivery. You will also provide strategic insights and recommendations to support decision-making at the executive level. We are seeking candidates who can review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. The successful candidate will write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.

Responsibilities:

· Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.

· Identify opportunities for improving business processes and systems.

· Translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT solutions.

· Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and IT teams.

· Create detailed documentation, including business process models, use cases, and user stories.

· Perform data analysis to support business decision-making.

· Assist in the development and execution of test plans to ensure solutions meet business needs.

· Provide ongoing support during the implementation phase and after deployment.

· Manage relationships with key stakeholders.

· Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively.

· Mentor and guide junior business analysts.

· Provide training and support to team members.

· Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes.

· Assist in the development of business strategies and roadmaps.

· Prepare client-facing and internal deliverables

· Facilitate User Acceptance Testing activities

· Lead training, demos, and education activities for customers and stakeholders

· Develop procedures, manuals, and other documentation for the systems developed based on the requirements gathered

This opportunity is contingent upon award expected February 2025.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience or Masters and 4 years, preference for degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

· Experience using skills specified in the document.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Familiarity with business analysis tools and techniques.

· Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.

· Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust security clearance

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
