CTG's premier client has a contract assignment for a Supplier Engineer II.
Type: Contract
Job Title: Supplier Engineer II
Location: Can be a fully remote position; however, candidates in the Corning Valley are preferred and would be able to report onsite as needed.
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Education: Associate degree + 3+ years' experience OR HS Diploma + 10 years equivalent experience

Ability to lead projects and coordinate the efforts of others to complete project goals.
Ability to effectively manage conflict and lead change management initiatives.
Description:
This position works on compliance of suppliers of raw materials, components, and outsourced services for medical devices, as well as suppliers of purchased finished goods that are registered medical devices. The role requires close collaboration with various functions within and outside of the organization, including Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Supplier Quality, and suppliers.
Requirements:
Work with plants to identify raw materials, components, and outsourced services used in the manufacturing of medical devices.
Work with Supplier Quality to ensure Quality Agreements are in place for identified suppliers.
Review finished goods (FGs) and purchased finished goods (PFGs) labels for compliance with applicable standards.
Collaborate with suppliers of PFGs and Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to ensure Medical Device Files meet relevant standards.
Some travel may be required as part of job responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Associate degree + 3+ years' experience OR
HS Diploma + 10 years equivalent experience
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of business experience in a regulated environment.
Knowledge of applicable industry requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485).
Preferred Qualifications:
Life Science product application knowledge and experience.
Experience working in the Supplier Management space.
Green or Black Belt certification.
Skills:
Working knowledge of relevant software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate efforts across teams.
Effective project management skills with an ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $30.00 to $36.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is also offered.
