As a DevOps Manager, you will provide a disciplined approach for the day to day operations associated with Ascension’s cloud applications and environments, including deployment, management, monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting of all production cloud systems. You will be required to engage and establish strong relationships with engineering, platform and product management teams to ensure feedback from production usage and operations.
Responsibilities:
Create and manage day to day processes including Change Management, Incident Management and configuration Management
Ensure team executes on Sprint Commitments with quality
Collaboration with other efforts, projects and support, will be key to successful execution
Develop standards and procedures for measuring product quality and release readiness
Must be able to evaluate variety of open source technologies and cloud service
Mentor/motivate others and build a positive culture within the team
Participate in code, design and product reviews
Support the automation efforts related to Application, database and content
Strong understanding of Continuous integration and Continuous Delivery methodologies with experience setting up the pipeline using CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, etc.Lead and mentor team of DevOps Engineers
Participate in Cloud Infrastructure management, provisioning, cost management and planning efforts
Drive the Strategy to evolve and modernize existing tools and processes to enable highly secure and scalable operations
Work on moving workloads from on prem infrastructure to cloud
Apply SRE principles to ensure systems reliability
Development and documentation of processes/run books for DevOps
Work with Software, Platform, DevOps and SecOps engineering teams to ensure product features and patches comply with cloud deployment standards
Ability to analyze infrastructure automation requirement
About You
Have an engineering background (Preferably Computer Science) with 15+ years of experience in leading teams in managing infrastructure and at least 5 years' experience in managing DevOps team for a large organization
You work very well in a faster-paced, high growth environment
You are able to roll up your sleeves and get into the details when needed on tools and technologies related to CI/CD pipeline or other Automations.
You have experience in supporting both multi and hybrid cloud operations
You have lead cloud transformation initiatives
You are constantly learning and looking for opportunities to improve the efficiency with technology and tools

Requirements
Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
