  • Schedule: Full-time

Will serve as an Interim Travel Nursing leader with the potential to serve various Ascension hospitals. This is a short-term assignment, 3-6 months, with the possibility to extend.

Responsibilities

Direct pharmacy operations to ensure alignment with the mission, values and objectives of the department and organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct the development and implementation of practices, policies and procedures in all functional areas of the department.

  • Accountable for department staffing and capacity planning.

  • Oversee the development, monitoring of and compliance with departmental budget(s).

  • Utilize broad knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements to direct departmental operations and ensure accountability for the department's compliance.

  • Develop and maintain effective, collaborative relationships with all site leadership, specialties, departments including other specialty managers, associates and related vendors.

  • Implement specialty quality initiatives in the areas of patient safety, the Joint Commission, specialty accreditation, and performance improvement.

  • Participate in the development and administration of both long-term and annual capital plans which include facilities, systems and equipment. Implement and monitor compliance with revenue integrity processes.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Licensed Pharmacist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

Work Experience:

  • 5 years of experience required.

  • 2 years of cumulative leadership or management experience required OR a graduate from an accredited Health System Pharmacy Administration residency program required.
