Regional Training Manager (South Central), Stanley Access Technologies

Regional Training Manager

The Regional Training Manager will be responsible for identifying training needs in partnership with the Field business leaders, to outline curriculum for certain roles in the business unit, and to ensure that all training and certification is managed through the Company’s Learning Management System.

What You Will Do:

• Work with Field business leaders to establish and implement training programs for Installation and Service teams

• Evaluate performance and the effectiveness of the training programs, providing recommendations for improvement(s)

• Analyze training needs to development new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.

• Conduct ongoing technical training and personal development classes for all Field staff members and associates. i.e., New Hire training courses & AAADM certification courses.

• Plan, develop and provide training programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of training methods, such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.

• Develop and organize training manuals, visual aids, web-based training, and other educational materials as required.

• Conduct annual visits to all branch locations in assigned region.

• Ability to travel (estimated at 50%) depending on business need

• Other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed:

• 5+ years' experience in the automatic door business, 10+ years’ experience preferred

• AAADM certified, with extensive knowledge of ANSI standards

Additional Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to effectively interact with all levels of Field associates, in verbal or written form

• Comfortable in public speaking environments

• Ability to transfer subject matter expert knowledge into effective training modules

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products

• Strong problem solving, decision-making and organizational skills
