Evaluation Specialist - Senior

Location: Remote. A potential start date is September 2024, with one base year and four option years.

CORTEK is seeking a Senior Evaluation Specialist who will play a critical role in assessing the effectiveness and impact of the VA I*DEA Program. This position requires expertise in data analysis, program evaluation, and reporting, with a focus on supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of the I*DEA Program to assess its effectiveness and impact.

  • Develop and implement evaluation frameworks and methodologies to measure program outcomes.

  • Analyze data and provide actionable insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

  • Prepare detailed evaluation reports, including findings, recommendations, and best practices.

  • Collaborate with program stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.

  • Ensure all evaluation activities comply with relevant standards and guidelines.

  • Support the development of strategic plans and provide input on program enhancements.

  • Contribute to the creation of communication materials, including reports, presentations, and briefs.

    Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 12 years in evaluation and analysis, with a focus on federal programs and DEIA initiatives.

  • Proven experience in data analysis, program evaluation, and report writing.

  • Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

    Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in public administration, Social Sciences, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Certification as a Government Financial Manager (CGFM) or equivalent is a plus.

    Clearance:

    Low-level clearance, which consists of a review of records contained in the OPM Security Investigations Index and the DoD Defense Central Investigations Index, FBI name and fingerprint check, as well as written inquiries to previous employers and references listed on the employment application.
