PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $110,900.00-$135,600.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $86,100.00 - $160,300.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE
As the Enterprise Data & Business Intelligence Analyst (BIA) at BECU, you will be instrumental in transforming data into powerful insights that drive business decisions. You will partner with various teams across the organization to build and support Business Intelligence (BI) and Advanced Analytics solutions, ensuring our data is accurate, accessible, and actionable. Through your expertise, you will bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business needs, helping shape data-driven strategies that enhance BECU's impact.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with product owners, developers, and data stewards to document and communicate product and program requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment.
Maintain Data Standards: Manage data sourcing, metadata, business rules, and algorithm documentation to reflect standardized data management principles.
Drive Analytics Lifecycle: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams through all phases of the BI and analytics lifecycle, from initial analysis to creating repositories, dashboards, and reports.
Conduct Data Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis to generate insights, test hypotheses, and identify trends within curated data sets.
Solve Data Challenges: Tackle analytic and computational challenges by understanding root causes, developing strategies, and implementing alternative measurements when needed.
Validate Data Integrity: Develop and test validation scripts and controls to maintain high data quality and reliability within BI and analytic solutions.
Support Data Modeling: Design and maintain conceptual and logical data models, supporting data management initiatives and the creation of new data offerings.
Document and Train: Create technical release manuals, system configurations, and policies to optimize the use of BI solutions, providing training tailored to end-user needs.
Perform Demos and Walk-Throughs: Conduct technical walk-throughs and demos with development and business stakeholders, ensuring transparency and collaboration on assigned projects.
Additional Duties: Take on other responsibilities as needed to support team and organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, IT, Business, or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in data management solutions, with demonstrated expertise as a Business Intelligence Power User and Data Consumer, and as a liaison delivering strategic and operational solutions to technical teams.
Comprehensive experience in supporting the full data life cycle, including development, modeling, and data manipulation, with intermediate knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, Python, Alteryx, and tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Proficiency in Cloud Computing and data architecture, including familiarity with Azure, DataOps, JIRA, and Agile development tools.
Strong ability to plan, organize, schedule, and execute projects using established project management methodologies.
