Job Summary:

The Privilege Management System Admin is an interdisciplinary role that requires good knowledge of Active Directory, Linux, Windows Servers, Windows workstations, Information Security practices, data gathering and data analysis.

In this role, the candidate must be able to balance the requirements of handling requests and incident tickets with Project-based deadlines and tasks, and be able to collaborate with other technical teams to solve issues, and address business needs efficiently. The team also works closely with Information Security teams and with vendor Support teams. Due to the high amount of inter-team interactions, good verbal and written communication skills are required.

For this position we are seeking a candidate with experience in Privileged Access Management tools, and Information Security standards, policies and procedures. The candidate should also have experience in analyzing and consolidating large data sets, and be able to confidently problem solve with technical stakeholders from multiple disciplines to ensure minimal disruption to the environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing Secret Server access and Privilege Manager elevated workstation access requests, incident and critical incident tickets

  • Creating and maintaining reporting and metrics that demonstrate the effectiveness of the process and tools, and highlight inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement

  • Maintaining the quality of the system data to ensure accuracy

  • Working with technical teams from other disciplines to increase compliance with IS policies and standards by removing blockers to password rotation

  • Participating in system upgrades and testing for Privilege Management tools

  • Identifying and removing workstation policy configurations that are preventing Privileged Management tools from working effectively

  • Managing secret templates and developing customized solutions to meet business needs

  • Monitoring unauthorized local admin access channels and removing them

  • Adding new programs and elevation needs to Privileged Management tools

Requirements and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field or equivalent relevant experience

  • At least 2 years experience working with Secret Server, Privilege Access Manager, or equivalent privileged management tools

  • Demonstrates a familiarity Information Security standards and how they relate to Security policies

  • Strong understanding of ITIL principles and practices

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to analyze and compare large data sets to identify patterns, discrepancies, and anomalies

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
