Job Description Summary

As the Clinical Application Specialist (CAS) you will deliver clinical and operational expertise by providing education and training support within a specific modality or product portfolio to clinical end-users. The clinical specialist will facilitate evidence-based practice and support customer experience and commercial teams. The CAS support pre-sale activities through to post implementation engagements by providing effective, outcome-based demonstrations, education, and training solutions. This is national role within Canada.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Patient Monitoring as clinical liaison to the sales organization with the goal of strengthening technical capabilities of the team and customer relationships, while also driving business opportunities forward.

  • Advance new product (NPI) features in patient monitoring solutions & care techniques; partner with customers in developing training plans / strategies that support new product assimilation (MS) and ongoing training needs.

  • Coordinate, schedule, and execute objective based system training, monitor, and report on training outcomes. Training will be conducted onsite at customer facility and remote virtually.

  • Work in close collaboration with Product Team, identify customer satisfaction opportunities, issues, assist in escalations, problem determination and specialty training requests.

  • Develop meaningful relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to standardize and optimize protocols and support our clinical education initiatives. Participate in install base upgrade programs, proactive strategic customer touchpoints.

  • Drive sales process by conducting clinical product demonstrations and onsite evaluations.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent with 5+ years of critical care patient monitoring clinical industry experience.

  • Must be a Registered Nurse with National (CNA) or Provincial Association member in good standing) with critical care experience as a preferred qualifications.

  • Deep understanding of clinical education training and associated process implementation.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex information and modifying messaging based on audience.

  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 4 days per week including overnights and some weekends) within the US and Canada via multiple modes of transportation (car, air travel, & train, etc.).

  • Willingness to submit to a check of your driving record (given that you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a GE HealthCare owned/leased, privately owned/leased or rental vehicle for company business).

  • Comply to GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.

  • It is a condition of hire that any new employee or contract worker that will provide products or services to a GE HealthCare customer facility are fully vaccinated and provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination. All offers of employment are conditional upon the satisfaction of this requirement. “Fully vaccinated” means that any such person must have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination approved by Health Canada. The second dose of vaccine must have been administered at least 14 clear days before commencing employment.

Responsabilités

  • Servir d'expert en matière de surveillance cliniques en soins critiques et de liaison avec l'organisation commerciale dans le but de renforcer les capacités techniques de l'équipe et des relations avec les clients, tout en faisant progresser les opportunités commerciales.

  • Collaborer avec les clients dans l'élaboration de plans/stratégies de formation qui prennent en charge l'assimilation de nouveaux produits de surveillance (Patient Monitoring) et les besoins de formation continue.

  • Coordonner, planifier et exécuter une formation système basée sur des objectifs, surveiller et rendre compte des résultats de la formation. Dispensée la formation soit sur place dans les environnements clinique du client et / ou à distance virtuellement.

  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe national de CAS, produit, ventes. Identifier les opportunités et les problèmes de satisfaction des clients, aider aux escalades, à la détermination des problèmes et aux demandes de formation spécialisée.

  • Être points de contact stratégiques proactifs avec les clients.

  • Effectuer des démonstrations cliniques de produits et des évaluations sur site.

Profil du candidat: (Caractéristiques désirés)

  • Bilingue (FR/AN) aptitude démontrée parler et à écrire en français et en anglais.

  • Capacité de communiquer un contenu clinique complexe de manière facile à comprendre.

  • Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience clinique avec une connaissance démontrée du flux de travail aux soins critiques.

  • Autonome, dynamique, travail d’équipe, prise de parole en public.

  • Connaissance des outils PC traditionnels type Word, Powerpoint (Visual Basic), Excel et MS TEAMS.

  • Posséder de solides compétences interpersonnelles avec un focus a la gestion et le service à la clientèle.
