Join us at Chobani as the Senior Director of Data Science, where you will spearhead our Revenue Optimization efforts using our proprietary RevOp tool. This position is vital for refining and executing our strategy to enhance investment and allocation decisions across trade promotions and media, leveraging advanced AI-driven analytics to drive significant ROI and net revenue growth.
Responsibilities
RevOp Tool Leadership & Development: Oversee the development and enhancement of the RevOp tool, an in-house ROI measurement and analytical platform designed to optimize media spend and trade promotions. Ensure it delivers accurate, granular ROI measurements and actionable insights Strategic Decision Making: Lead model development powering the RevOp tool to provide strategic guidance on allocation of marketing spend, helping to determine where, how, and when funds should be deployed across various retailers and marketing channels Performance Measurement: Implement standardized methods to assess the performance of trade promotions and media expenditures, ensuring alignment with Chobani’s broader business objectives Advanced Analytics and ML Implementation: Lead the integration of ML-driven attribution models into the RevOp tool to provide deeper insights into the effectiveness of promotional and media activities Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with commercial, marketing, and finance teams to ensure that the data insights generated are integrated into all facets of business planning and execution Team Leadership and Development: Manage and expand a team of data scientists and analysts dedicated to supporting the RevOp platform, fostering an environment of innovation and rigorous analytical standards
Requirements
Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field Over 10 years of professional experience with a strong focus on data science and ROI measurement in a consumer goods environment Proven expertise in developing and managing advanced analytical tools and platforms, particularly those involving AI and machine learning for business decision-making Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into strategic insights that drive successful business outcomes Excellent communication skills, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and engaging senior stakeholders Deep understanding of the CPG industry’s dynamics, particularly in trade promotions and media strategy
