Labcorp Data Commercialization Coordinator in Remote, North Carolina

Labcorp is seeking a Data Commercialization Coordinator to enable the growth of Data Commercialization within our Real-World Data (RWD) Products Team. The scope of the RWD Products Team includes data licensing, insights & analytics, and new use cases for LabCorp data, with the mission of leveraging Labcorp data to improve health and improve lives. The Data Commercialization Coordinator will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of all operational aspects of de-identified data licensing within Labcorp RWD Products. This role will have responsibilities in administrative functions, such as data entry and documentation, as well as the opportunity to work directly with data partners, data marketplaces, and clients to commercialize Labcorp data. The ideal candidate for this role will have an interest in real-world data, experience in data entry, and basic proficiency in contracting operations and financial operations to ensure holistic success of the data licensing program. A strong attention to detail will be essential for success in this role, as accurate documentation, tracking, and reporting are critical foundations to scale the business. This role is highly cross-functional with collaboration with Contracting, Finance, and IT within Labcorp and with clients and data marketplaces outside of Labcorp.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure appropriate decision-making processes are used, identifying when to escalate decisions for additional review

  • Coordinate operational aspects of real-world data (RWD) commercialization activities

  • Review new data licensing requests to ensure completeness and alignment with approved use cases and business objectives

  • Communicate with data marketplaces and external clients to clarify scope and provide updates on data licensing requests, defining requirements and managing expectations

  • Perform data entry to document new requests in Smartsheet, Salesforce, and Excel, as needed

  • Use existing tools to generate quotes for data licensing requests and communicate quotes to data marketplaces and external clients

  • Coordinate invoicing workflow to ensure contracts are processed for payment

  • Provide administrative support for the use of contract templates and review draft agreements to ensure the scope is accurate

  • Update Salesforce dashboards and create reports on the opportunity pipeline and KPIs

  • Provide updates and take meeting minutes during participation in internal meetings and external client meetings

  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 3 years of relevant experience in the life sciences industry

  • Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)

  • Experience communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders (e.g., data engineers, legal, finance, and external customers)

  • Experience with data management or project management software

Preferred requirements:

  • Previous experience with Smartsheet and Salesforce

  • Experience in the following areas:

  • Clinical or diagnostic lab

  • Complex project planning and management

  • RWD sales or commercial experience

  • CRO or pharma experience

  • Knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy laws and best practices

  • Previous administrative experience

  • Previous experience with basic data analysis

Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually

Benefits: All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
