We are hiring a Predictive Analytics Consultant to join our team. This role provides expertise in sustained customer success and growth in the post-sales customer lifecycle through training, professional services, technical support, renewals, outcome attainment, retention, expansion, and customer advocacy with a Digital focus. Envision yourself responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. You will function with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).
Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Work with customers to design, implement, deploy, test, and deliver solutions using GE APM Reliability+ and/or SmartSignal predictive analytics solutions to optimize fleet health and readiness
Interface directly with clients to clearly understand their priorities and needs so that these can be documented as specific requirements for a solution
Document test cases to validate that the client’s requirements have been met
Collaborate with solution architects, product managers, and technical consultants to architect a solution that meets the client’s requirements
Develop or adapt SmartSignal blueprints to effectively monitor clients' assets
Support the development of proposals and estimates of the effort required to deliver solutions
Participate as a member of multiple project delivery teams, working closely with others to deliver projects according to defined schedules and budgets
Train customers to use GE Digital solutions, especially complex configurations
Provide functional and / or technical leadership to personnel supporting projects
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college
Advanced years of experience implementing, designing, or operating predictive modeling systems
Strong ability to communicate in both English and Spanish and/or English and Portuguese
Legally able to work in Mexico or Brazil
Desired Characteristics
Technical:
Experience applying GE Digital Predictive Analytics solutions to Power Generation, Oil & Gas and Mining & Metals plants
Analytics background and practical experience in one or more of the following: industrial automation process monitoring, PID Control Loop performance monitoring and tuning, APM (asset performance management), Cybersecurity, Process Optimization, Advanced Process Control, Model Predictive Control, process modeling, data mining, MES applications, historian (PIMS) applications, industrial instrumentation, condition-based monitoring
Working knowledge, at least at basic levels, of the main communication protocols used in industrial applications (e.g.: OPC-DA, OPC-UA, EGD, MQTT, Modbus) and their integrations with other industrial systems.
Hands-on experience with operation and maintenance of equipment used in Aviation, Marine, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, or Mining & Metalsapplications
Familiarity with Equipment Health Monitoring and Performance Monitoring of equipment
Experience using time-series databases
Working Knowledge of MS Office based products, especially Excel Macros, and Business Intelligence software’s (Power BI).
Working knowledge of Windows Server installation process and networking
Working understanding and capability to work with developers and various coding (e.g.: Python, Java, DAX, VBA, JSON)
