Sales Engineer - AI Solutions

Job Description:

Arrow is seeking a Sales Engineer - AI Solutions to provide technical direction and business guidance to our channel partner community in North America. As a Sales Engineer, you will be accountable for partner enablement goals by driving innovative technical programs and overseeing day-to-day technical account-level activities. Your primary responsibilities will include building awareness, fostering education, and driving enthusiasm for AI within both internal and external stakeholders. You will act as a bridge between technical teams, business leaders, and the wider community, working to demystify AI, showcase its potential, and promote its ethical and responsible use. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and promotion of AI solutions that address complex business challenges with our partners. A qualified candidate should have a strong analytical mind to connect with vendors, partners, and customers to solve real problems with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions.

What You'll Be Doing:

Educational Outreach:

  • Develop and deliver engaging presentations, workshops, and training programs to educate both technical and non-technical audiences about AI concepts, applications, and benefits.

  • Collaborate with vendors, industry organizations, and community groups to promote AI literacy.

  • Deliver executive-level conversations for customers and prospects to educate and inspire on the vision of AI.

  • Deliver webinars and presentations at industry and customer conferences on a variety of AI-related topics.

Thought Leadership:

  • Produce impactful, thought-leadership content, including blogs, articles, webinars, white papers, and presentations, to educate, inspire and articulate "the art of possible", while effectively positioning Arrow Electronics as a channel leader.

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, advancements, and ethical considerations in AI.

  • Research, develop and publish thought leadership content for broad audiences.

Community Building:

  • Establish and nurture a community of AI enthusiasts, practitioners, and stakeholders.

  • Organize and participate in meetups, conferences, webinars, and other events to connect with the AI community.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales teams to understand and communicate the value proposition of AI solutions.

  • Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to develop and execute AI-focused campaigns.

  • Support enablement, training, and upskilling initiatives of our customer-facing teams

  • Gather feedback from the vendors, community, partners, and internal teams to provide insights for Arrow Solutions Lab use case improvement and development.

Technical Support:

  • Provides technical leadership and direction to channel partners and sales staff with pre-sales activities in the assigned market on behalf Arrow's AI Vendors, which include Nvidia, IBM Watson, Microsoft and ecosystem alliances

  • Advocate for ethical and responsible AI practices, addressing concerns related to bias, transparency, and accountability.

  • Promote awareness of AI's societal impact and facilitate discussions on responsible AI adoption.

  • Obtain training and maintain knowledge of industry standards, new technologies and current issues.

Networking:

  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers, researchers, and professionals in the AI field.

  • Connect the outside world and voice of the customer to vendor product development efforts. Provide customer and market feedback for product vision and feature design.

  • Be an active and visible contributor to the Arrow AI Center of Excellence community.

  • Obtain training and maintain knowledge of industry standards, new technologies and current issues.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Real-world AI/ML project end-to-end experiences, including design, build and validate successful AI/ML solutions.

  • Demonstrates technical expertise on Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Machine Learning

  • Proficiency in Python (must), MySQL, Github, Git, GO, ETL, OLAP, RDBMS, Scribus, AWS, Azure, Google, IBM Cloud, or other platforms and programming languages.

  • Proficiency in common AI/ML frameworks, etc., Scikit-learn, Tensorflow, Pytorch, Hugging Face.

  • Knowledge and experience with application of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree, neural network, etc.).

  • AI experience with Nvidia, IBM, Microsoft, Dell, NetApp, HPE, and/or other AI vendors

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams and with stakeholders.

  • Highly professional, with the ability to deliver quality work on tight schedules.

  • Self-starter who is motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a loosely structured organization.

  • Ability to travel 25% or more of the time.

Experience / Education

Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 8 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$122,600.00 - $200,200.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.

US-GA-Georgia (Remote Employees)

Remote work employees may be required to be present at the closest designated Arrow office for work-related purposes, at the Company's request and sole discretion.
