IT Senior Manager, ERP Implementations

• Allegion is seeking a Senior Manager, ERP Implementations to join our ERP and business transformation delivery team. As a Senior Manager ERP Implementations, you will play an integral role in building and supporting a vision and roadmap for Allegion’s ERP strategy, systems, and processes. Primary responsibilities will include analyzing and executing ERP project opportunities, developing project objectives, and defining scope and success criteria. You will have the opportunity to lead transformation efforts and promote positive change to help support key businesses at Allegion. The ideal candidate will apply proven communication, analytic, and problem-solving skills while ensuring alignment with IT and overall business transformation strategies.

What you will do:

• Partner with IT and business leadership to gain alignment and determine options for reducing system risks and unlocking digital opportunities to support the growing business needs

• Provide oversight for strategic ERP implementations and projects including assisting with creation of project plans and schedules, planning and managing resources, and communicating status and risks to stakeholders

• Actively engage in analyzing and creating business cases and partnering with key business leaders to plan future strategic ERP deployments and implementations globally

• Surface options and scenarios for breaking down complex ERP systems and processes into tangible, composable ERP projects

• Build and lead multi-sourced teams to meet objectives

• Work across multiple locations with business and IT partners to understand and help develop global/regional system and process improvements

• Analyze and challenge existing processes and assumptions to help define the best solutions to meet current and future business needs

• Reinforce and promote the usage of standard ERP functionality where possible

• Assist with long range goals, annual plans, and manage project budgets appropriately

• Navigate challenging topics and changes with different stakeholders to gain alignment on key initiatives

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field

• 10+ years experience working within IT software projects for large manufacturing (multi-national) or distribution operations

• 7+ years experience working with or implementing ERP application functionality – with emphasis on Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing related business activities

• 3+ years managing and/or leading team members in IT projects requiring change

• Strong understanding of end-to-end order to cash lifecycle processes

• Experience working with and implementing different types of ERPs on different technologies (AS/400, Oracle, SAP, Dynamics AX)

• Experience planning upgrades and/or application implementations with cloud-based ERP and integrated software

• Experience successfully delivering and/or supporting large projects and solutions across a spectrum of technologies (ERP, CRM, Web, Middleware, EDI, and Cloud and on prem Infrastructure)

• Experience assessing comprehensive business requirements and surfacing alternative options with processes and systems

• Ability to work independently as well as to collaborate effectively with others in person and remotely

• Ability to lead, motivate, and influence functional and technical teams

• Solid knowledge around Microsoft technologies and implementation methodologies (SureStep)

• Excellent communication skills with all levels. Proven ability to lead and communicate orally, in written documents, and in formal presentations is required

• Team player, change agent, and customer-driven mentality

• Analytical approach to problem-solving, solid conceptual skills and willingness to learn, sense of urgency and commitment for a job well done

• Strong work ethic, driven, results oriented

• Demonstrated ability to successfully prioritize and participate in multiple initiatives simultaneously and work under time constraints

• Solid understanding of business data integrity and audit / SOX compliance controls and procedures

• 25% travel

Bonus Points:

• Masters Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field

• Applicable Techno-functional knowledge within Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations and / or Oracle ERPs is a big plus

• Basic familiarity with relational databases (MS-SQL), PowerBI, and reporting concepts

• Comfortable using SQL and other tools to work with data for ad hoc analysis

• Prefer experience working on one or more global (multi-Region) fully cycle ERP projects
