PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $134,200.00-$164,000.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $104,200.00 - $194,000.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:

As an Enterprise Program Manager at BECU, you will be at the forefront of driving strategic initiatives that directly contribute to the growth and success of the Credit Union. Your ability to manage complex programs that span across multiple project teams and departments will help BECU achieve its business objectives. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, providing leadership and ensuring that every project is aligned with the overall vision. Your work will help shape the future of BECU by ensuring seamless execution, continuous improvement, and fostering innovation within the organization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Collaborate and Capture Requirements : Work closely with stakeholders and teams to gather and refine high-level requirements, ensuring alignment throughout the program lifecycle.

  • Partner on Program Governance : Work alongside Tech Product Owners and Leadership to establish and evolve governance structures, ensuring programs run smoothly.

  • Define Business Outcomes : Ensure that every project within the program has clearly defined business outcomes, and track and measure their success upon completion.

  • Oversee Program Execution : Lead the planning, execution, and closure of programs, ensuring that teams are working efficiently toward project goals.

  • Lead Multi-Team Implementations : Manage and guide the implementation of complex programs with multiple project teams, ensuring coordination and collaboration.

  • Apply Appropriate Project Methodologies : Determine the best project management approach (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and act as the point of escalation for project challenges.

  • Maintain Audit-Ready Documentation : Ensure that all program documentation meets regulatory and audit requirements, keeping everything well-organized and accessible.

  • Manage Program Finances : Take ownership of program financials, making sure budgets are tracked and financial resources are optimized.

  • Coordinate Resources and Timelines : Create and manage detailed resource plans and schedules, ensuring cross-departmental impacts are addressed and recommendations are made.

  • Engage with External Vendors : Work with external partners and vendors, managing contracts, and ensuring they align with program goals and timelines.

  • Oversee Dependencies : Identify and manage project dependencies, ensuring clear communication across teams and making adjustments as necessary.

  • Solve Challenges : Proactively remove roadblocks, mitigate risks, and ensure the program stays on track for success.

  • Manage RaID (Risks, Issues, and Decisions) : Own the program RaID process, ensuring that risks, issues, and decisions are properly managed and communicated.

  • Lead Go-Live and Release Plans : Oversee the creation of release plans, manage go-live activities, and provide post-launch support to ensure a smooth transition.

  • Foster Continuous Improvement : Lead initiatives to continually improve program delivery and technical processes, driving innovation and efficiency.

  • Mentor and Support Teams : Provide mentorship and support to newer project managers and team members, helping them grow and develop in their roles.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work/educational experience.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing programs and/or projects.

  • Experience in managing enterprise-wide and Technology-driven programs.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience identifying and improving interdepartmental or enterprise processes, documentation, and engineering process flows.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience mentoring and influencing employees on responsibilities such as processes, approaches, and practices.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a related field.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard project management software tools.

  • Professional project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Project Management Certification).

  • Agile certifications or relevant education (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, Agile Certified Practitioner).

  • Active involvement in professional organizations related to organizational change, technology management, program management, and community impact.

  • Experience leading teams, providing performance feedback, and managing workloads.

  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
