ICON Clinical Research Statistical Scientist in Remote, Estonia

Statistical Scientist (office or remote working)
The Role:
Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which center around our commitment to People, Clients and Performance.
Travel (approximately 5%) domestic and/or international.
Attends weekly BMW meetings
Assists Director and members of the Senior Team with BMW initiatives
Ensures with oversight the financial health of BMW through budgeting and scope development
Participates in general marketing conferences or industry meetings
Participates in professional activities including presentation at technical conferences
Represents BMW in proposal development of full-service bids and statistics-only projects
Proficient with the SAS Data step with complex conditional statements and variable creation
Proficient with performing complex merges (including one-to-many merges) and concatenation
Contributes to project conception and design
Proficient with the SAS Output Delivery System to control output from statistical procedures
Proficient with performing analyses using basic and advanced SAS statistical procedures or techniques (e.g., repeated measures, survival analysis, SAS/Graph, advanced macros, etc.)
Proficient in at least one substantive area (e.g. statistics, epidemiology, pharmacoeconomics, patient- reported outcomes, etc.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
Doctorate degree or equivalent OR Master’s degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
Experienced with macros and arrays for repetitive tasks
Experienced with descriptive statistics procedures for summarizing, restructuring, and outputting data
Strong conceptual quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
Strong client management skills
