Job Title: Regional Sales Manager, Western Canada, Vision Care Division

Reports to: Business Unit Director – Vision Care

Employment Time: Permanent Full-Time

Location: Remote

Position Summary: The Bausch + Lomb Vision Care Team promotes a collaborative team culture that has driven year-over-year growth through market disrupting programs and the launch of 6 innovative products within the past 5 years. In January 2021 Bausch + Lomb Canada launched the silicone hydrogel daily disposable ULTRA® ONE DAY which is a breakthrough technology that competes in the fastest growing portion of the contact lens market and represents a 100M opportunity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting a sales team to achieve/exceed performance within the defined geography. This is a front-line sales management role heavily focused on in-field coaching of direct reports and leading business development activities with key accounts. The primary customer audience for this team include Optometrists, Opticians, retail locations and other Eye Care Professionals.

Performance Deliverables/Responsibilities:

• Lead team to deliver on regional sales and market share goals • Coaching and development of representatives for improved performance as per company sales process including coaching and developing in a B2B business model

• Managing regional key accounts

• Attract, retain and develop top talent

• Provide leadership within the region and collaborate across departments to advance the organizations’ initiatives

• Implementation of brand POAs

• Partner with key opinion leaders and strategic accounts to establish

• Develop and execute regional business plans that include key customer identification, prioritization and success requirements

• Allocate company resources to optimize effectiveness and capitalize on business opportunities in the region

• Provide POA execution and competitive marketplace insights to the marketing and senior leadership teams

• Plan and execute regional meetings

• Manage expenses and other resources within allotted operational budgets

• Where necessary take on responsibility for a designated group of customer accounts

Education, Experience and Required Skills:

• BA/BS degree required • 3 to 5+ years of related sales experience

• 5+ years of people management experience, preferably in a B2B sales environment

• Passion for, and demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales representatives

• Strong analytical skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Proficient computer skills, in Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team environment

• Strong organizational, time & work prioritization skills; attention to detail

• Business travel required, including some weekends

• 50% of time will be in the field/20% of time will be focused on local key accounts/30% of time will be focused on field planning (i.e. business planning, training development, etc.)
