Senior Software Architect/ Teach lead

Location: Home-Based Brazil

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Architect / Tech Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in both front-end and back-end technologies. This role requires a seasoned professional who can provide technical direction, solve complex problems, define architecture, ensure best practices, and conduct detailed code reviews. The candidate should also have knowledge and experience with cloud development environments and agile methodologies.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Act as the Tech Lead for the development team, providing technical direction and guidance.

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance software solutions.

• Define and implement software architecture and ensure it aligns with business goals.

• Conduct detailed code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

• Assist team members with complex technical challenges.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Lead key products and features from conception to deployment, ensuring high-quality standards.

• Ensure the quality of the codebase through unit testing, end-to-end testing, and automated testing.

• Manage CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployment processes.

• Utilize Azure DevOps for project management, version control, and release management.

• Engage in an agile, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) software development process.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply them to improve the development process.

• Foster a positive team environment and build strong relationships with team members.

• Adapt to changes and demonstrate persistence, innovation, and patience in problem-solving.

What You Bring to The Team:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or software engineering from a reputable institution.

• 10+ years of experience in software development.

• Proficiency in front-end technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Vue, asp.net.

• Expertise in back-end technologies: Node.js, JavaScript

• Solid grasp of core Computer Science concepts including Algorithms, Data Structures, Operating Systems, and Object-Oriented Programming.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Azure Cloud.

• Extensive experience with unit testing, end-to-end testing, and automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, and Playwright.

• Proven experience in designing scalable cloud architectures.

• Proficiency with Git and software release processes.

• Experience with agile methodologies like Scrum.

• Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.

• Strong adaptability to change, persistence, innovation, and patience.

• Experience with C# / .NET Framework.
