Job Description

As an Engineer III, Field Service at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will have the outstanding opportunity to work in a special organization that is dedicated to enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. Responsibilities:

  • Determine the root cause of sophisticated technical issues and develop flawless solutions

  • Collaborate with teams from various departments to successfully implement new initiatives

  • Compete with industry-leading technologies to ensure our products are of the highest quality

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by providing on-site assistance and resolving technical issues.

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure efficient performance of equipment

  • Daily location updates should be indicated in the programming group.

  • Monthly delivery of expense reports, timesheets, and regional indicators is required.

  • handle minimum inventory levels as defined by division levels.

  • Achieve your PMD (Performance Management and Development) objectives.

  • Update all software, tools, methods, user/service manuals, and hardware in your possession.

  • compliance with NR-06 training.

  • Carry out installations, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and repairs of CDD & SDG equipment in accordance with local procedures and in coordination with the Field Service Manager

  • Be in compliance with Service Max

  • Provide support and/or training to less expert colleagues and distributors, for small, medium, and large equipment.

  • collaborate in CAS score attendance of 9 to 10.

  • handle and publish by regularly reading external CDD support bulletins.

  • Prioritize the monthly preventive maintenance schedule for your region in agreement with current process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field

  • Shown experience in a similar role

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal

  • Strong ability to effectively communicate sophisticated information and generate reports

  • English and Spanish sophisticated

  • Proficient in electrical/electronic technologies, mechanics, and software.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of equipment management, including MTBF, MTTR, and Uptime.

  • Possession of NR-06, NR-32, and NR-10 certifications.

  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams effectively.

  • Aligned with ThermoFisher's standards of conduct and ethical guidelines.
