What you will be doing

As an Infra Engineer, you will be responsible for engineering, operations, and 3rd level support for our Active Directory and Azure Active Directory services and related components. The ideal candidate must have significant experience with Active Directory, Public Key Infrastructure, Microsoft Windows Server, and related technologies and possess working knowledge as deployed in a mission-critical, multi-site enterprise environment.

We are looking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic Infrastructure Engineer who will be doing the following:

  • Develop and enhance enterprise Microsoft Azure, Windows Server and Active Directory engineering standards for a multi-site organization, including operating systems and authentication protocols.

  • Installing, configuring and maintaining Linux operating systems. Security management in Linux environments. Automate tasks using scripts and automation tools.

  • Develop technical partnerships with key support, architecture, and operations teams.

  • Diagnose Windows and Linux Server platform in issues in complex, business-critical environments.

  • Provide 3rd level support for an enterprise-wide Microsoft Windows and Linux distributed server platform, including related technologies such as Certificate Services, Web Servers, Clustering, etc.

  • Design and architect new systems and enhancements to existing infrastructure.

  • Managing and improving our cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure), optimizing for performance, cost and scalability.

  • Produce basic project plans, perform root cause analysis documents and report on progress to management.

  • Ensure timely response to request and incidents which are received via service desk tool or Mobile app.

  • Ensure knowledge base documentation is accurate and up to date.

    Knowledge and skills you need to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience.

  • 5 years of experience performing activities such as:

  • Large enterprise Azure services (Entra, Office365, intune)

  • Active Directory administration.

  • GPO management

  • DNS infrastructure

  • CA / PKI implementation.

  • Advanced understanding of Active Directory concepts in multi-domain \ multi-forest segmented environment along with best practices required to maintain the system stability and optimal performance.

  • Multi-forest expertise with an understanding of Kerberos and NLTM, LDAP, and SAML protocols is required.

  • Familiar with Linux Ubuntu OS, containerization technologies and orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.

  • PowerShell and bash scripting knowledge.

  • Skills on cloud platforms (Azure and AWS EC2).

  • Experience monitoring and configuring alerts using Monitoring apps.

  • Accustomed to working in large, diverse, complex production teams in an outsourced environment.

  • Proven team player with the ability to mentor, guide, and influence cross-functional teams

  • Availability to participate in On-Call support/rotation as an escalation point from IT Operations or in high-severity incident situations.

  • Ability to manage own projects, meet deadlines, and communicate with stakeholders across multiple teams and geographies.

  • Upper Intermediate English & Fluent Spanish.

  • Linux Certifications.

  • ITIL Foundation Certification.

  • Certifications in Network Administration and IT Security.

  • Project Management experience.

  • Technical team leadership experience.
