Applied Materials Indirect Purchasing Buyer in Rehovot, Israel

We are looking for a highly talented Indirect Purchasing buyer to join our unique team to lead our coming years growing indirect purchasing challenges.

What’s in it for you?

  • Manage sourcing of suppliers for medium-large scale with high level of complexity projects; such as constructions, building control systems and others.

  • Obtains and leverages deep understanding of suppliers' internal constraints and considerations regarding cost structure, technology, logistics, tooling, people and more.

  • Mange high volume RFQ\RFP under time constraint.

  • Negotiations and management of commercial aspects, contracts, and legal documentation with internal and external customers.

  • Work closely with multiple internal interfaces, such as Facility, Finances, and manufacturing groups.

  • Manages relationships with local & abroad key suppliers to achieve high quality performance, On-Time-Delivery and Cost optimization.

  • Lead Applied Materials indirect supplier’s management, that includes escalations, business review etc.

  • Set strategic plan to develop commodity management.

What should you have?

  • Experienced Buyer with 3 Years or more Experience in Indirect Purchasing arena, preferably in a medium\ large Hi-Tech company.

  • Proven Experienced of leading complicated Sourcing & Selection Process, preferably in construction.

  • Strong presentation abilities, including storytelling and Power Point.

  • Independent, team player with excellent leadership potential.

  • High complexity Negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic & under pressure working environment.

  • Technical orientation including BI system and control tools.

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher education in relevant field.

  • Excellent English proficiency – reading\writing\speaking.
