Applied Materials Computing Development Group is seeking a highly talented Technical Project Manager to join our exciting endeavors in developing the next-gen computing systems for Applied Materials products.

Our Group: Computing Product Development (CNS)

Applied Materials PDC (Process Diagnostics and Control) division designs, develops, manufactures, and supports complex multidisciplinary machines for the semiconductor industry. These machines contain a large number of computing modules, including servers, storage, and network equipment.

The computing development group research, designs and develops computing modules in the R&D phase for NPI & SPI. Once the product completes its development phase, our group takes it into the productization phase for high-volume manufacturing.

What you'll be doing:

As a technical project manager, you will lead and orchestrate high-scale computing development projects. You will interface with external (cross-org) and internal (in-org) stakeholders to build, maintain, and execute project plans according to requirements, resources, budget and timeline.

You will work directly with computing product development teams across the organization, including architects, hardware, software, mechanical, electrical, and safety engineers.

Your responsibilities will include managing multiple projects in parallel with different/similar stakeholders and synchronizing resources to meet commitments in an agile and changing environment.

You will also be responsible for periodically reporting on project progress, challenges, and risks. Analyzing and implementing continuous improvement will be a way of life to make things better.

As a technical project manager, you will encounter various challenges and obstacles throughout the project lifecycle. Having strong problem-solving skills will enable you to identify and address issues effectively, ensuring that projects stay on track and meet their objectives.

Presenting project milestones with confidence and charisma to top-level management, with a deep understanding of technical details, will also be part of your role.

What should you have?

  • Experience in managing high-scale technical projects involving various disciplines from different domains in an agile environment.

  • Technical understanding of complex systems, dependencies, and solutions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Proactive & constant improvement attitude and mindset.

  • Excellent presentation skills, both verbal and written, in Hebrew and English.

  • Ability to manage complex risky situations and provide mitigation plans.

  • Material management knowledge (procurement, inventory management, budget).

  • Familiarity with the IT industry, including servers, networking, storage, and security, would be a high advantage.
