Kelly Services Benefits File Clerk in Regina, Saskatchewan

Kelly, a leader in providing workforce solutions is looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Benefits File Clerk. In this role, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and confidential records related to employee benefits.

Please note: this is a contract position, needed for back up only. With that being said there is no opportunity for an extension.

Responsibilities:

  1. Create and maintain physical and digital files for employee benefit plans, ensuring proper organization and documentation.

  2. Collect and review employee benefit enrollment forms, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  3. Update employee records with any changes or updates to their benefit plans.

  4. Assist in the preparation and distribution of benefit plan materials, such as handbooks and enrollment guides.

  5. Respond/ forward employee inquiries regarding benefits, providing information and guidance as needed.

  6. Collaborate with HR and benefits team members to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

  7. Conduct regular audits of benefit files to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  8. Assist in reception coverage as needed.

  9. Maintain confidentiality and security of employee benefit information at all times.

  10. Perform general administrative tasks, such as data entry, scanning, and filing.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business administration or HR is a plus.

  • Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably with exposure to employee benefits.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records.

  • Proficiency in using office software applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective employee interactions.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

  • Familiarity with HR processes and benefit plan administration is preferred.
