Philips Manufacturing Supervisor - 2nd Shift in Reedsville, Pennsylvania

The Manufacturing Supervisor will manage a team of Production Workers taking responsibility for the quality of the products produced, the production yield, and the timeliness of the deliveries.

This is a 2nd (evening) shift position.

Your role:

  • Leading a smaller group of direct reports (within the operations team)

  • Preparing financial forecasts and annual operating plan

  • Conducting appraisals

  • Being responsible for the Continuous Improvement in the assigned sector

  • Monitoring team and individual performance

  • Optimizing manufacturing performance metrics like productivity, cost of non-Quality, equipment utilization and overall efficiency

  • Ensuring operators are properly trained in processes used for completion of products/parts

  • Ensuring operators are properly trained in Health & Safety related to processes, tools, equipment used in the completion of products/parts

  • Ensuring work instructions and tools used re compliant with specifications and requirements

  • Implementing Lean projects

  • Implementing NPI

You're the right fit if:

  • You have acquired 5+ years of experience in Industrial/Manufacturing/Engineering/ Supply Chain leading role

  • Your skills include Ability to manage priorities under deadlines

  • You have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or comparable discipline

  • Proven performance management skills

  • You have the ability to conduct and to present analysis of production and process data to support improvements

  • You have the knowledge of Lean, value stream and process management to drive improvements and to solve complex

  • You are an effective communicator

  • You have working knowledge of environmental, health, safety and quality regulations.
