Job Description
Results-driven, take charge, self-starter Maintenance Supervisor to join our automotive electronics manufacturing team.
Skills & Experience
Structured, disciplined and well-organized with an established 5-year record of maintenance work experience preferred, with at least 2 years industrial maintenance/repair in a production environment (preferably in a continuous process industry), or two years post-secondary education in a technical school or college education with an equivalent combination of work experience and education. Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
- Plan, schedule and implement maintenance activities.
- Develop maintenance policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, security and regulatory protocols.
- Perform state required water tests.
- Maintain hazardous waste storage and removal.
- Responsible for building structure and utilities: roof, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire suppression, compressed air, drainage, waste streams, etc.
- Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance or repairs.
- Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work to ensure tasks/projects are completed on time.
- Maintain building requirements for seasonal changes based on forecasted weather.
- Maintain facility climate control equipment for seasonal changes utilizing internal and contractual labor.
- Maintain outside lighting requirements per procedure.
- Maintain lawn and landscape by routine cutting and trimming.
- Perform snow removal of building entrances, exits and walkways, including sand/salt usage. Coordinate snow removal for parking lots and drives.
- Provide production support as needed for: equipment maintenance; tool repair; production line set-up; preventative maintenance; fabrication of new tools.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and initiate repair or replacement when necessary. Oversee all repairs and ensure work is completed on time.
- Capability to perform light fabrication projects using standard welding equipment, lathe and vertical mill is preferred.
- Oversee building cleanliness per routine cleaning schedules, including, but not restricted to: floor cleaning; restroom cleaning; office vacuuming; waste disposal; dusting, window cleaning, etc.
- Inventory and order maintenance tools, equipment and supplies (including cleaning supplies).
- Initiative, adaptability and communication skills are necessary for success in this position.
- Other duties as assigned.
