Description:

• Apply and remove all masking and plugging materials to customer products in a safe, productive manner by customer requirements.

• Responsible for performing masking methods based on customer product specifications.

• Responsible for preparing raw material for masking to include, but not limited to hand wiping using chemical products. ( MEK, Toulene, Alcohol, Different types of paint)

• Reference blueprints to accurately assess masking requirements specified on print.

• Helps monitor inventory levels and the request to purchase supplies and materials to meet production requirements on time.

• Assists in the inspection of the product and notify the Team Leader/Supervisor of any non-conformances.

• Records masking details on the job ticket and any necessary information on the work order as required.

• Accurately complete the necessary forms and adhere to schedule due dates.

• Works safely at all times and complies with all safety regulations while working with Hazardous materials and chemicals.

• Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner.

• Works with a positive attitude and reports all questions or problems to the Team Lead or Supervisor.

• Additional duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Work Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred

Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses, and Registration)p

• Preferred but not required

Language / Communication Skills:

• Must be able to read and write to complete required forms

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
