About the Position: The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) develops and delivers responsive aviation, missile and calibration materiel readiness to the U.S. Army. The position is located within US Army Aviation and Missile Command, AVIATION Directorate UTILITY/APACHE, multiple vacancies maybe filled using this announcement. Responsibilities Aviation Provisioning of items with an understanding of cradle to grave lifecycle logistics requirements. Working with Project Management Offices introducing new items into the Army system, developing Provisioning Bill of Materials and Repair Bill of Materials Working with Original Equipment Manufacturers and participating in technical equipment validations and verifications. Review and input of technical data to include Engineering Change Proposals, Modification Work Orders and Depot Maintenance Work Requirements. Development of Supply Catalogs in the Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP) database. Leads the team in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience in total life-cycle process, supply management, and maintenance management concepts, theories, principles and practices, and their interrelationship for the effective planning, development, implementation and management of item/system provisioning programs. Advising on the acquisition of technical logistics for total weapon systems or subsystems ensuring that provisioning and related technical data requirements are addressed. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Leadership Maintenance Planning and Management Oral Communication Problem Solving Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
