About the Position: Serves as Command Strategic Planner in the CG Initiatives Group (CIG), Headquarters, Army Materiel Command (HQ AMC). Responsibilities Serves as technical expert, analyst, and advisor to the Commanding General, Army Materiel Command on a wide range of issues related to the organization to include policies, practices and procedures. Conducts special analysis of issues related to resources (funding/time) required and/or available to carry out missions in areas of Organic Industrial Base (OIB) capabilities, sustainment, logistics and evaluation of various projects. Conducts strategic analysis to determine which efforts can be initiated, modified, or eliminated in light of current operations, future requirements and changes at the Department level. Researches, analyzes, and works closely with other action officers to prepare and edit strategic messages for delivery by executive leadership.
