Position Title: UX/UI Developer 2 Location: Remote Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: 3 months contract will extend. Job Type: Contract and Remote Pay Range: $40 - $45/hr. Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience 1. Minimum 4 years' experience with Dashboard design. 2. Minimum 4 years' experience with Web App design. 3. Minimum 4 years' experience with Figma. Summary: * The main function of a UX/UI Developer is to develop, create, and modify user interfaces through and understanding of end-user needs. Job Responsibilities: * Engages with the business development team and/or customer early on to seek a deeper appreciation of the customers' business problem/goals. * Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints * Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met * Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design * Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications Skills: * Experience in software design and development * Experience in professional UI development * Experience with data-driven UI development * Strong communication and problem solving skills Education/Experience: * Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required * 2-4 years experience required Benefits: BCforward offers all eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to major medical, HSA, dental, vision, employer-provided group life, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and 401k.
