Requirements: Job Description: Title: UX Designer Location: Redmond, WA Duration: 12 Months Job Description: This studio has an exciting opportunity for a skilled UI artist to join our studio. This role involves leveraging industry UI/UX design knowledge and artistic ability to create appealing solutions for a broad host of visual needs, including: in-game media such as icons, headers, screen layouts, as well as other various other types of graphic design and UI components. Job Responsibilities: Typical Day * Ability to create and execute high quality design work consistent with the visual style developed in collaboration with the Art Director and the UX Director * Work with UX team to translate wireframes into in-game UI assets for engineering hand-off * Effectively manage multiple assignments with varying end dates simultaneously Qualifications: Hard Skills * BA or BFA in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or similar * 3+ years in UI artist role or similar on AAA titles * Strong understanding of UI including: graphic design (layout/composition, typography, iconography) and usability and function (button states, accessibility) * Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Sketch, or other visual design and wire framing tools * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written * Up to date with the latest UI trends, design trends, techniques Other desirable qualifications: Best.
