We are seeking a Project Manager 2 to join our Redmond, WA team! Come join us!
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
This position requires technical competence, a positive attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, engineers and coworkers.
Lead safety efforts for team and ensure team follows safety rules and guidelines. Responsible for creating and modeling a safe work environment; demonstrates safety practices. Promote pre-task planning for all projects.
Provide independent review and assessment of applicable deliverables during construction. Document reviews in published assessment reports.
Review and perform field or office activities to evaluate and assess compliance with the approved technical requirements or restrictions. Manage project schedule, budget and invoicing. Prepare project proposals and cost estimates. Manage personnel and resources.
Engage and motivate employees with respect to professional and personal growth to include facilitation of training and mentor-ship of staff.
Other tasks include but shall not be limited to:
Perform independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) during construction activities, including independent inspections and independent sampling and testing
Prepare progress reports and assessment reports
Verify as-built drawings
Evaluate of technical submittals
Ensure inspection plans and procedures meet Technical Contract Requirements
Verify construction items for conformance to RFC drawings and specifications
Interface with various team members
Maintain a quality driven focus
Oversee the development and implementation of inspection and test plans and procedures
IDR (Inspectors Daily Report) review and processing
Construction-Phase Submittals Review (e.g. shop drawings, product data, samples, installer qualification statements, manufacturer’s instructions, source and field quality control submittals)
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in related Science, Engineering, or Engineering Technology. On-the-job experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
5+ years of previous experience advancing and managing construction projects.
Basic knowledge of Engineering, construction, and design.
Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects.
Ability to communicate well verbally and in written form.
Valid Driver's license
Technical requirements:
Ability to write technical reports
Web based storage systems
Thorough understanding of document control systems
Computer literate
Knowledge and understanding of QC/QA, Materials Engineering, and construction activities preferred.
Other miscellaneous qualities:
Ability and willingness to travel to site locations as needed.
State of Washington Professional Registration - P.E. a plus
Compensation:
$124,000 - $125,000 annual salary
The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
