Job Description: SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED This is a more narrowly scoped position providing manufacturing engineering ownership of solar power module assembly for the project Kuiper satellite program. You will be a key part of bringing the new solar power module assembly line on-line and commissioned. Critical to this work is robust documentation of processes, ability to design, procure, and test tooling and shop aids, perform testing of the equipment and gathering data to prove reliability and repeatability of the systems. Job Responsibilities * Design space hardware production processes and production lines * Experience with equipment design, procurement, installation, and qualification * Work with supply chain partners to manage critical vendors * Material flow planning and manufacturing process definition with minimal existing definition * Ability to support space hardware testing, including tooling design and data analysis * Assembly, Integration, and Test takt time & cost optimization planning * DFM review and sign off for design release REQUIRED SKILLS * BSc/MSc in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent * Knowledge of MCAD software 3D modeling and 2D drafting * Experience designing mechanical assemblies for electronics * Experience with rapid prototype tooling * Experience with production tooling * Experience in project management * Strong communication and writing skills PREFERRED SKILLS * Siemen's Teamcenter for PLM * NX for 3D modeling and 2D drafting * Mechanical tolerance stack-up analysis * SAP MES and ERP systems * Use of engineering project management software such as JIRA, Confluence, or other Agile tools Location: Redmond, WA Zip Code: 98052 Keyword"s: #Redmondjobs; #MechanicalEngineerjobs; Start Date: Right Away #ZR If you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
