Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Benefits and Leave Coordinator in Redmond, Washington. As a Benefits Coordinator, your primary focus will be to handle leave administration tasks for this organization's employees. You will be examining and processing leave requests and ensuring complete accuracy and compliance with federal and state laws in addition to this organization's policies and procedures in the related paperwork.

Responsibilities:

• Scrutinize and process a backlog of leave requests in a timely manner.

• Check recent leaves to ensure they have been processed correctly.

• Analyze leaves that have started or been completed and ensure accurate tracking.

• Ensure the appropriate paperwork was sent out and received for each leave request.

• Handle paper-based processes related to leave requests.

• Oversee compliance with leave programs and FMLA regulations.

• Monitor and manage leave administration to ensure consistent application of benefit functions.

• Address inquiries and resolve any issues related to leave requests.

• Maintain accurate records of all leave requests and their statuses.

• Liaise with other HR functions to ensure seamless administration of leave requests.

Requirements

• Proven experience processing leave request with a minimum of 5 years in Human Resources

• Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience with Benefit Functions

• Proficiency in maintaining Compliance within HR regulations and policies

• Demonstrated expertise in overseeing Benefits Administration

• In-depth knowledge and experience in managing Leave Programs

• Excel experience required

• Familiarity with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and its application

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
