We're in search for the Head of Programs – Data Insights Strategy Leader who possesses an innate talent for delving into data while also having the foresight to provide our field teams with the necessary tools and insights to fully comprehend their business and identify opportunities for improvement through strategic application of partner services, programs, or where to concentrate field efforts. You will be responsible for devising the strategy on the delivery and content of what we offer to the field, equipping them with fresh and insightful data-driven perspectives, empowering our field teams to take precise actions that drive peak performance. Responsibilities

As a leader of this strategic program for Majors, you will have:

  • Leadership in the direction, adoption and vision for the Majors Acceleration data platform across all aspects of Azure revenue/consumption, Modern Work Copilot, Customer Health and Unified adoption.

  • Business rigor around driving innovation in the existing data platform & ensuring prioritization aligns with overall CE&S priorities in order to drive Majors ACR & Copilot Usage

  • Leverage an existing level of comfort with Excel to dive deeper into data to create net new insights for the field

  • Drive adoption of Majors Acceleration through a plan to land new changes / updates to the MSXi reports through communications, communities and / or in place field rhythms

  • Own and run the daily backlog reviews & coordinate across CH&G to triage new requests to align with strategy.

  • Lead CH&G team in being the focal point for all data insights related to Majors

  • Agile working style to ensure that Majors Acceleration keeps pace with the business and maintains relevancy as the business changes focus and direction.

Business Acumen and Executive Presence

  • Executive presence to build confidence and trust with corporate and field partners

  • Technical acumen to drive ideation, planning and operationalization of business strategy

  • Drive field and engineering relationships across Microsoft to ensure we are focused on unblocking customers as they onboard to Azure

  • Versatile with proven ability to be adaptable in rapidly evolving business/org situations

  • Analytical skills, able to distill key insights from incomplete data

Technical Breadth / Role Depth

  • Broad knowledge of consumption trends & complications of pan Azure business across Infra, Data & AI, Apps, Security and Copilot.

  • Data driven through use of existing and to be signed corporate datasets. You need to LOVE Excel and PBI.

  • Deep experience program managing and deploying programmatic strategies to our field teams. You will own the end-to-end planning and strategy for the Majors dashboard

  • You will need to be comfortable with all forms of reporting, leveraging data for business rhythms and understanding which type of data is best for varying field teams and stakeholders.

  • Validate and adjust strategy leveraging key Microsoft milestones

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 6+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of Program, Project or Product Management

Business Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.
