BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Financial Analysis & Controls 3 Job for an opportunity at Remote -Redmond, WA preferred (if based in Redmond they will have the opportunity to be onsite 2-3 times a week.).! Position Title: Financial Analysis & Controls 3 Location: Remote -Redmond, WA preferred (if based in Redmond they will have the opportunity to be onsite 2-3 times a week.) Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: Contract of 12 Months and possibility of extension Job Type: Contract and Remote Pay Range: $55 - $57/hr. Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Top Skills: * Years of Experience Required: 5-6 overall years of experience in the field. * Degrees or certifications required: Finance or accounting degree is required to be eligible for this role. * Minimum 5-6 years' experience with modelling * Minimum 5-6 years' experience with excel and reporting. * Minimum 5-6 years' experience with forecasting Job Description: The main functions of a Financial Analysis & Controls are to gather and analyse financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical Financial Analysis & Controls is responsible for analysing and communicating financial information for clients. Job Responsibilities: * Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports. * Analyze financial information to produce forecast of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions. * Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability, and future trends in investment risks. Skills: * Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking. * Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time. * Basic ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses. * Basic knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data. * Basic knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting. * Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software. Education/Experience: * Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred. * 5-7 years financial and/or accounting experience required.
