IT Asset Manager
Overview
Leverage your technical expertise, leadership experience and passion for optimizing operations to manage our IT asset delivery team. This challenging and fulfilling role sits within IT Service Delivery– a centrally located team within Information Systems and Technology whose mission is to support operations.
Responsibilities
Lead a team responsible for client device and asset management activities, including career development and resource planning
Foster a collaborative and customer-centric culture within the team
Manage and enforce global asset lifecycle management standards and procedures, including procurement, deployment, retirement, and disposal
Oversee the provisioning, configuration, and deployment of client devices, peripherals, software, and SAAS solutions
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance asset management operations
Optimize asset utilization and identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies
Apply a continuous improvement approach in enhancing the strategies employed in technology spending and tracking assets within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) throughout their lifecycle
Requirements
5+ years of experience in varying IT Leadership roles with a consistent trajectory of increasing responsibility and breadth
3+ years of experience with IT asset management
Exceptional communications and customer service skills
Experience with ERP platforms and asset management and lifecycle
Experience with ITIL and process optimization
Experience with ITSM, ITBM, ITAM, CMDB and related tools and practices
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Recommended Qualifications
Direct experience with ServiceNow and SAP
ITIL certification
Experience with Agile, Lean, and DevOps methodologies
