Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring an all encompassing part-time Housekeepers to join our team at Nova Guides in Red Cliff, Colorado to ensure our property is kept organized, clean and sanitized.

We have a Lodge, Chalet home, and 3 2-bedroom cabins that will be the sole responsibility of to ensure our property is kept organized, clean and sanitized. We are located just off of Highway 24 between Vail and Leadville.

Eligible hourly Team Members will receive an incentive of $2000.00 if they complete 6 months of employment. Please ask about our $500 Team Member referral bonus program.

$22.00 - $25.00 / hour

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors, carpets, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors

• Service, clean, and supply restrooms; remove dirty linens from guest rooms and transport to the laundry room; take clean linens to housekeeping carts and storage closets

• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures

• Notify managers of needed repairs or additions to building operations systems

• Laundry for all overnight accommodations

• Must have a valid driver's license

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Limited to no experience required; previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience preferred

• Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures

• Ability to work quickly under pressure and follow instructions

• Must have a valid driver license

• Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations

• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying; use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing duties

• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

• Visual acuity is sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces

Delaware North operates Nova Guides and Camp Hale Weddings located in the Vail, Colorado area. The property features a main lodge with a restaurant and retail shop. Nova Guides provides ATV/UTV guided tours and rentals, winter snowmobile and snow coach guided tours and rentals, and private fly fishing and archery instruction.
