Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a full-time Fleet Mechanic to join our team at Nova Guides in Red Cliff, Colorado. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for keeping the fleet in working order by performing regular inspections and maintenance.

$25.00 - $35.00 / hour

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostics on all vehicle systems.

• Determines, completes, and documents appropriate maintenance and repairs on all vehicle components

• Knowledge of other fleet repair programs.

• Perform and document preventative maintenance procedures per vehicle specifications.

• Conducts road/trail service calls for repair or rescue, diagnosing issues accurately and safely.

• This position requires the employee to drive company vehicles; the successful applicant will have an unrestricted driver’s license and can pass a DOT physical

• Work flexible shifts, holidays, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in fleet maintenance of heavy diesel, truck, vans, and OHV repair, and service.

• Knowledge of OEM parts and vehicle repair with a background and knowledge of all aspects of fleet operations and off-highway vehicles.

• This position requires the employee to drive company vehicles; the successful applicant will have an unrestricted driver’s license and can pass a DOT physical

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills..

• Ability to work independently, prepare and maintain records, and follow instructions effectively.

• This position requires the employee to drive company vehicles; the successful applicant will have an unrestricted driver’s license and can pass a DOT physical.

• ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls with hands.

• Stand for long periods.

• Bend, twist, kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl.

• Repeat the same movements.

• Lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects.

• Perform heavy physical labor outdoors and pass a DOT physical.
