POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Polisher to work first shift (6AM -- 2:30PM) based in its Reamstown, PA facility. This role will report directly to the Production Manager and work closely with the production team. Polishers are responsible for the final finish on stainless steel, bronze, and aluminum fabricated parts.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $20-$25/hr plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). $2,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Install or replace polishing belts and discs
• Polish products and teach polishing techniques to other team members
• Use different polishing methods and machinery to obtain specified finishes
• Apply lacquer or statuary finished as needed
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• High School Diploma and/or GED Certification
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical drawings
• Experience with various hand tools (manual and powered)
• Strong mechanical abilities

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

• Previous experience in a production environment
• Experience working with various metals
• 3+ years of metal polishing experience
