Field Stick Welder, 1st Shift, Reading, PA:

Pay Rate and Hours:

• Monday - Friday, 7am - 5pm

• $25-$35 per hour (Based on experience and interview)

Job Description:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on overhead cranes and related equipment at customer facilities.

• Diagnose mechanical problems with equipment in heavy industrial manufacturing facilities.

• Work as a team with other technicians and project engineers to perform major installations, upgrades, and modifications.

• You will be trained to perform documented safety inspections of specific types of equipment in keeping with OSHA guidelines.

• Perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance in accordance with applicable guidelines, consulting with customers regarding all noted deficiencies and completing all required paperwork.

• Responsible for documentation of hours, services performed, writing service acknowledgments, and working with computers.

• Diagnose mechanical problems

Qualifications & Work Environment:

• Must satisfactorily complete the required drug screen, physical, and past history checks

• Work independently, or as part of a team

• Motor control experience on systems with AC

• 3 years related experience

• Skills and experience in welding, electrical and mechanical maintenance

• Experience as an ironworker, millwright or facilities maintenance

• Team approach to problem solving

• Computer literate; Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

• Ability to interface with internal and external customers

• Ability to work outside in all types of weather

• Heavy Industrial Environment

• Manufacturer and servicer of Industrial Overhead Cranes.

• Working in various industries such as Steel Processing, Mining, Construction, Food and Beverage, Ports, Power Generation, and more.

• Comfortable working with heights

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
