Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our team. This role involves ensuring the proper running and cleaning of production equipment in the safe manufacture of powder coatings at our Reading/Warsaw sites. Operators may be placed in Grinding, Weigh Up, or Extrusion production areas.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of production assets and ensure they are operated safely and per established procedures, guidelines, and industry good practices.

• Perform daily production, preventative maintenance, process data collection, and administration tasks as per procedures and control systems.

• Report safety, quality, or other issues related to products or production processes to the Team Leader or Shift Supervisor.

• Ensure all production targets are met while maintaining appropriate quality standards.

• Attend and contribute to meetings.

• Contribute to the investigation of HSE or quality issues.

• Participate in Continuous Improvement activities & programs for HSE, Quality, ALPS, or other as assigned.

• Participate in the Safety Journey and adhere to the Golden Principle to intervene and stop work if conditions or behavior are unsafe.

• Promote health, safety, and environmental regulations by adhering to standards, policies, and procedures in compliance with corporate, federal, state, and local requirements.

• Perform other duties as required for the success of the company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
