Job Responsibilities:

• Operates dispatch hotline, answering telephones, taking, and relaying messages and clearly and accurately recording all call details in dispatch log
• Acts as point of contact for drivers operating live trips, responding to driver requests for assistance, taking detailed messages concerning accidents, incidents other emergency situations and vehicle malfunctions and failures and directing these reports to appropriate contacts
• Distributes keys and tablets to drivers, assessing both their fitness for duty and their compliance with company uniform and personal appearance policies and recording time and any other important details of interaction in dispatch log

Desired Minimum Qualifications:

• Stress-tolerant nature necessary to consistently, calmly, and effectively responding to demanding, crisis and emergent situations while maintaining self-control and composure
• Geographical knowledge of Reading and surrounding areas
• Flexibility to work alternate work schedules including evenings and weekends required
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
• Must be at least 23 years old
• Must have valid driver's license for 3 years
