[We are looking for an experienced Billing[/Accounts Receivable[ Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for creating, documenting, record keeping, billing, and closing projects in the accounting system. The position includes the following job duties: setting up jobs in the accounting system, gathering and electronically filing pre-construction documents (certificates of insurance, signed contracts, purchase orders, tax exemption certificates, change orders etc.), customer account reconciliation, distributing bi-weekly reports to project managers, preparing and sending invoices to customers, processing lien waivers, following up with customers on past due invoices, working closely with project managers to ensure complete and correct billing for jobs, and closing jobs when billings are complete.
